Greenacre Ward Election
Published: 24 June 2026
Dear Resident(s),
Election of a councillor to Rawdon Parish Council, Greenacre Ward
As the Parish Council has to bear the full costs of this election, we are doing everything we can to save money. With that in mind we have decided not to pay for polling cards to be issued but instead are writing to you to provide the information that would normally be found on your polling card.
You do not need a polling card, your electoral roll number or this letter to vote. vote but you do need to be a registered elector.
The date of the by-election is Thursday 16th July with Polls open from 7am to 10pm.
Your usual polling station is not available so an alternative will be used at Trinity Church Hall, New Road Side, Rawdon, LS19 6AS. This is next door to the usual polling station of Greenacre Hall. Parking is available although there are no designated disabled parking spaces.
Check what support will be available at your polling station and learn how to request reasonable adjustments at: www.leeds.gov.uk/elections.
Please see the reverse of this letter for more information, including the accepted forms of photo identification which can be shown in the polling station.
Issued on behalf of Rawdon Parish Council by Lis Moore (Clerk)
